**Riskier emails deliver 83% on average and are worth using.** They are catch-all addresses that couldn't be individually confirmed. Safe emails passed direct server verification.

## What are safe emails?

An email is marked **safe** when it has been validated by our email verifier. That means **we sent a request to the server and the reply was positive.** Safe emails have a 97% deliverability.

## What are riskier emails?

Riskier emails are **catch-all emails.** **Our riskier emails deliver 83% on average, so they are worth using.**

Catch-all email servers capture emails sent to **any invalid address at the domain.** When configured, emails sent to any address related to the domain **will not be bounced back.**

That means this email can't be verified, since we can't get a YES/NO reply from the server. The only way to verify catch-all emails is to send test emails to them.

**Tip:** to keep your bounce rate low, aim for at most 30-40% riskier emails in your list.

## Do riskier emails cost extra?

No. On a Sales Navigator export, the email is included in the lead's credit. A riskier email costs nothing extra.

On Email Finder uploads, safe and riskier emails both cost 1 credit.

## Can I download only safe emails?

Exported files include all found emails with their status, so you can filter safe from riskier emails in your spreadsheet or CRM. There is currently no option to download a partial file.
